architectural distillation
2017+
Architecture does not need to be explained—it needs to be revealed.
Architectural Distillation is a way of seeing that moves beyond function, beyond context, and even beyond architecture itself. It is an act of reduction. A disciplined removal of everything that is not essential until what remains is structure in its most refined state—line, light, rhythm, and silence.
In this process, buildings are no longer read as objects. They are experienced as gestures. A curve becomes tension. A shadow becomes weight. A repetition becomes time.
